Dr. Lossio
Dr. Francisco Lossio received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia – Medical School in Lima, Peru. Following an Internship at State University of New York – Health Science Center at Brooklyn, Dr. Lossio completed his Residency with Children’s Medical Center of Brooklyn, where he was also Chief Resident.
Dr. Lossio moved with his family to Alma in 2001 to join the Pediatric Specialty Center. After twelve years with Michigan Medical Center at Gratiot where he is Head of the Pediatric Department, he felt it was time to open his private practice.
Dr. Lossio is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is an MSU Clerkship director at the Midland Campus. Dr. Lossio spends much of his time teaching MSU medical students and CMU physician assistant students.
Dr. Lossio is a pediatric physician with over 16 years of experience and is skilled in primary care and patient hospital care management. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
He lives in Alma with his wife, two children and two dogs. He enjoys spending time outdoors and is active in community sporting events. He also volunteers time coaching youth soccer and can usually be convinced to make a donation for school fundraisers.
Brittany Cline, Nurse Practitioner
Hi! My name is Brittany Cline. I grew up in Merrill where I graduated from Merrill Community Schools. From there I went on to earn my Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science in Nursing degrees from Saginaw Valley State University. I enjoy being a nurse practitioner at Lossio Pediatrics because I love caring for children through all phases of childhood, from newborns to adolescents. I would also like to credit Dr. Lossio for being a great collaborating physician to work with. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband, Jarred and son, Emmett. I love anything Disney and can be found camping and exploring the great state of Michigan during the summer.
Terri Shaw, Office Manager
I have been in the medical field since 1998 and have been with Lossio Pediatrics for over 15 years. I enjoy working in the pediatric field. One of my many favorite things about this job is watching the patients grow. I have two daughters. Away from the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my girls, family and friends. I feel very blessed to be a part of our patients lives at Lossio Pediatrics.
Lindsay Dunevant, Medical Assist.
I had been in the healthcare field for 15 years as a CNA before becoming a medical assistant. I love my job at Lossio Pediatrics. My favorite part of the job is the interaction with kids and listening to the stories. I have two kids; a 21 year old son and a 7 year old daughter. In my spare time I enjoy spending my time with my pet cows.
Alysha Bollinger, Medical Assistant
I have been working in the medical field since I was 18. First as a CNA, Pharmacy Tech and now as a Medical Assistant. In my time away from work I enjoy watching my sons race dirt bikes and fishing. I have 2 sons and 1 daughter. A couple of my favorite things about my job are getting to watch the children grow and making a difference in their day.

I have been working in the medical field since 2003, and for Dr. Lossio for over 12 years. I love working with kids, they make the best patients! Watching our patients grow from newborn, to starting school, to graduating has been the best part of the job. I have two sons and a daughter of my own. Away from the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my family.
